Flow. Move. Thrive.

Better living through energy architecture.

Flow Move Thrive is a precision methodology for when nothing else has worked.

Most people have done the work — the therapy, the journaling, the courses, the apps, the trying harder. They've spent thousands and they're still stuck. FMT is for what comes after that. When it's time to do less, not more.

It's not therapy, it's not coaching, it's not personal training. It's the space between. For people who are done surviving and are ready to build what's next.

The methodology for people who outgrew the couch.

The Framework

Flow is precision of attention — where your energy is going, what's capturing it, and what's bleeding it out. Before you change anything, you learn to read your own system.

Move is deliberate pattern disruption. Not grinding harder. Changing how you communicate, how you spend your time, how you use your body. Movement as a strategic tool, not a punishment.

Thrive is the architecture that holds without you white-knuckling it. Not a feeling. Not a finish line. A structure — built to sustain high performance across the full length of your life.

Kori Ryan, Psy.D.

Founder, Flow Move Thrive

I am a human systems strategist. I study how people fall apart, then I help them put themselves together again.

Flow Move Thrive is the methodology I wish I had when my life fell apart. I was overachieving and running on empty at the same time — mid-career, mid-life, mid-stream. I built FMT to fill the gap I found between therapy and coaching. Neither was enough. This is what came next.

FMT is a precision-based human systems methodology rooted in clinical science and delivered as practice. It's designed for people who are high-performing on the outside but running on empty underneath. Mastery is the entry point. Sustainable human performance across the lifespan is the goal.

I hold a PsyD in Clinical Forensic Psychology and am a tenured associate professor with 20 years of experience across clinical psychology, criminal justice, and counseling. I'm also a certified yoga instructor and CrossFit L1 coach who found her athletic identity at 40.

How I Work

Every engagement starts the same way: I figure out what's actually going on.

Before strategy, before goals, before any plan — there's an assessment. I look at how your system is running: where the energy is going, what patterns are driving your decisions, and what's costing you the most. This isn't a personality quiz. It's a clinical read of your operating system.

From there, we build — together. Your FMT program is co-developed around your values, your constraints, and the outcomes that actually matter to you. I bring two decades of expertise in human behavior, clinical science, and systems thinking. I'm your thought partner and strategist — illuminating what you can't see from inside it, defining where you're going, and adapting the plan as you move.

What that looks like depends on what the assessment reveals. Sometimes it's strategy — reframing how you're thinking about a decision so you can actually make it. Sometimes it's pattern work — identifying the loops you're running and building different ones. Sometimes it's concrete and skills-based: how you're managing your time, what your screen data and wearables are actually telling you, how you communicate under stress, what resources exist that you haven't found yet. I meet the problem at whatever level it lives.

Here's what I'm not: I'm not your accountability buddy. I'm not going to check in on your water intake. I provide expert assessment and strategic direction.

You do the work of changing your life. Results depend entirely on your willingness to execute.

If you've already done the inner work and you're ready for someone who can see the whole board — this is what I built FMT for.

"Kori manages to be thoughtful, caring, funny, and challenging all at the same time. Working with her has changed my life. I came to Kori in a bad place, discouraged and angry. She helped me see patterns and respond to them in an effective, productive, and practical way. My experience with Kori has empowered me to make important positive changes in my life, and taught me to value things about myself that I had previously taken for granted."
